LoveLikeMikalynn non-profit was established in loving memory of Mikalynn Jayde Morris, who brought joy and kindness to everyone around her. LoveLikeMikalynn strives to encourage kindness, compassion and support of others. The non-profit supports groups that work on building our youth’s strengths. Knowing and building their strengths will hopefully help them in times of sadness and adversity. The stigma around suicide needs to be removed and we should all work on prevention and increase awareness in pursuit of saving other lives.

Annually, the non-profit will award a graduating High School senior a scholarship towards furthering their education. Preferably, a student pursuing a career in working with individuals with special needs or in the mental health field. Mikalynn had a passion for helping special need students. A mental health field will hopefully help other youth that are struggling with thoughts of suicide.

Donations to support the non-profit ensure that Mikalynn's spirit of compassion and kindness to others continues to inspire future generations to follow in her spirit.
